As we know it’s used as spacecraft, many movies and TV series like Star Trek, Star war illustrated the rockets beyond our imaginations and also created curiosity.
For drawing your rocket you need paper, a pencil, an eraser, and colors as per your imaginations. In this tutorial, we are drawing a cartoon rocket as well as a real rocket. How to draw a rocket for kids:
Step 1: Start with drawing the mainframe with the help of an oval shape.
Step 2: On both sides of the oval at the bottom edge draw 2 fins with the help of a rectangular type of shape.
Step 3: On the middle portion draw 2 circles for the window.
Step 4: Add curved lines for details, one on top and 2 on the bottom.
Step 5: Draw a flame shape at the bottom of the rocket.
Step 6: Draw a curved line for the earth to reflect the rocket is launching from the earth.
Step 7: Draw another planet with the help of a circle and a ring around it.
Step 8: You can draw a few stars in the sky for the shiny night view.
Step 9: Trace the outlines of your space rocket with the marker and draw with your imaginations or as shown in the picture below.
How to draw a real Rocket:
Step 1: Rocket is somewhat cylindrical in shape, according to that mark of the height and width on the paper. Draw a diagonal long line marking it in 3 parts, as shown in the image.
Step 2: On the top part of the line draw a rectangle. From the middle part draw 2 lines distancing as moving downward. It will almost form a triangle kind of shape.
Step 3: Draw rectangle for middle, then in the lower part draw fuel part with 2 very small triangles following a straight line, refer image as given below.
Step 4: In the top part draw 3 ovals and at the base also draw 3 ovals for the engine part.
Step 5: Rocket has many stages in it, draw lines and circles for that, refer to the image.
Step 6: Draw zig-zag lines in the top and very tiny circles on the bottom of 3 cylinders formed. Draw 2 triangular shapes on both sides of the bottom edge.
Step 7: Be attentive and draw engine details for the rocket by referring to the below image.
Step 8: Contour your drawing with the shading and erase all the guidelines
Step 9: You can add a few more details to it as cloud and smoke on the bottom of the rocket.
