Introduction: Minecraft Slime Rocket Ship!

Hey guys! Welcome back once again to another instructables. This instructables will show you how to make the ever popular Slime Rocket! Unfortunatly This is not my own creation and I do not know who's it is originally.

In Minecraft's update 1.8 they introduced a new block called a "Slime Block" this block was capable of making other blocks stick to it and move with it if used with a piston or sticky piston. This instructable uses the slime block to pull/push its way across the map.

Step 1: Slime Block Engine

First off you nee this at least one block off the ground or the Slime block WILL NOT MOVE due to the fact that it is trying to move your world with it. Start by making a pillar three blocks tall so you can place a normal piston facing outward and place a slime block on the piston's head. BEFORE YOU DO THIS REMOVE THE PILLAR! Then, place a block of redstone on top of the slime block.

Step 2: Sticky Piston

Next, make a three block tall pillar two blocks in front of your slime block. Then, place a sticky piston so that the piston head is facing the slime block and delete the pillar that the sticky piston is attached to. On the sticky piston, place a normal piston facing the opposite direction that the sticky piston is facing.

Step 3: Slime...Why Did It Have to Be Slime...

At this point you should have a line of blocks in this order:

Piston

Slime Block

Sticky Piston (facing the Slime Block)

and another Piston (facing away from the Sticky Piston)

Two blocks in front of the last normal piston, place a slime block with a block of redstone on top. Don't let the slime block be attached to anything but the redstone block for now.

Step 4: Finished!

To start the engine place a block on the back of the first piston. This will start the first piston moving and it will not stop after that unless there are fourteen more blocks in the way. If you want to make it a ship instead of a rocket move to the next step. When you launch this rocket it will slowly move forward and collect blocks as it moves (if any are in its way)

Step 5: SPACESHIP!!!

Before you place the block on the back you can place two blocks and a boat on the floating slime block like in this picture. When you activate the rocket it run to the front and right-click on the boat and you will fly with the rocket. If your boat gets stopped then it will fall off after making you go through the redstone block in the front so be careful. That's it for today guys!
